Crack ah tow company towed my car from my housing compound and then i had to pay out of pocket for nothing. Their mistake, my loss. Shi dont make sense. And the lady at the counter was so rude. I asked her questions and she gives me crack ah answers, “if u want ur car, then this is the process” like huh? customer service out the window. yall make money out of people’s despair and desperation, none of yall are ever seeing heaven.

Very sketchy variable tow fees. I was billed for services that were not performed. Then cut a "cash only" deal.. still at an unreasonable value for a 2 mile nonconsensual tow, before I was able to retrieve my personal items (including medical equipment left in the vehicle). In talking with other customers at the location with similar frustrations, it seems the establishment will purposely extend their processing time before releasing the bill to rack up storage expenses. While I understand profit is the goal of any business, the way this nonconsensual tow was handled felt predatory and deeply unethical. Given the increasing scrutiny around towing practices, I would fully cooperate with any future investigation into this company’s conduct.

Horrible, awful, unprofessional- I really can’t express how terrible this company is. My car was legally parked in my apartment with my parking badge displayed on my back window after being instructed by my apartment complex to put it “in a prominent place”, and I have not had any issues in the 2 years I’ve been there (before they used McGills). They towed it anyway because they “couldn’t see it”. Mistakes happen, I can completely understand if they missed it since they came in the middle of the night. My gripe is not with the mistaken towing, as they did release it without insisting I pay the fee. However, the attitude of the woman at reception when I came onsite to pick it up was deplorable. She was combative, aggressive, and lacked the very basics of respect. The situation did not require any level of conflict and I even told her that I’m not here to fight, even after she lied and said the apartment told her stickers should be in the front of the vehicle (which the apartment manager himself verified was not the case) she continued the attitude and disrespect. Business Complaint – Megill’s Inc. I am submitting this complaint regarding what I believe to be unfair and unreasonable business practices by Megill’s Inc. Both of my mother’s vehicles were towed by two different towing companies and taken to two different locations. Despite the fact that Megill’s tow location was closer to where the vehicle was picked up, Megill’s charged nearly double what the other towing company charged, even though the other company towed the vehicle a farther distance. There was no clear or reasonable explanation provided for this significant price discrepancy. Given the current economic conditions, charging excessive and disproportionate fees for a necessary, non-optional service such as towing raises serious concerns about price gouging. Consumers do not have the ability to shop around or negotiate in these situations, which places a heightened responsibility on towing companies to act fairly and transparently. The situation was further aggravated by the lack of professionalism and empathy shown by Megill’s staff. How good can experience be when your car is towed in front of your home. Its a mistake that you made that caused it. Rats, ya know? Well, what do you do but start walking and solve the problem you've created. Typically the amount of road blocks that'll be placed in front of you bye, bye folks behind the counter at a tow company will be numerous. That is not the case at Megills. The folks behind the counter returned the courtesy I gave them and helped me get my van back. Being generally understanding of service employees and their role in the industry will sometimes get you to a solution far easier than yelling will.
